The Office of the City Agriculturist carries the responsibility to promote growth and development of agriculture sector in the City of Imus and increase farmers’ real income and improve their quality of life beyond bare subsistence level thru effective agricultural delivery system. The mandate pre-supposes the development of the capabilities of the farming families by providing them with knowledge on the latest research findings, innovations and skills together with the adoption/introduction of viable agricultural projects that will cater to the needs of the populace of the City; basically on food security.

Gulayan Project
Establishment of Community/Institutional Gardening Project along pilot Barangays/subdivisions/schools and other institution.
Requirements:
1. Letter request from Barangay Officials/Homeowner Officers/Schools Garden In-charge and others who are willing to establish vegetable garden project and have available space for the purpose.

Animal Health Care and Management
Requirements:
1. Coordinate to the Agriculture Office regarding concerns on animal health care and management
- If concerns requires visitation of the animal or farm, the farmer must be present during the visitation
- For vaccinations and deworming, request letter must be made by the requesting Barangay/Subdivision addressed to the Office of the Mayor or directly to the Office of the City Agriculturist
