The City Public Library of Imus is committed to educate the reading public by providing valuable information through books, periodicals, pamphlets, ephemerals and non-print materials classified and cataloged according to the standards for easy access and retrieval.

Aside from the Readers Service, the City Public Library of Imus provides free Internet Service to the community for the convenience of the fast and easy access to knowledge and information.

Programs/Activities/Projects

  1. Campaign for R.A. 7743 – continue empowering the establishment of barangay reading centers
  2. Donate-A-Book Program – donate books and other reading materials to established barangay reading centers and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Mini-Library
  3. Outreach Program
  4. Conduct storytelling and book reading activities to selected public elementary school pupils
  5. Seminar on Book talk

Service Procedures

  1. The library user must register first before using the library and its facilities.
  2. Bags and other belongings should be left in the depository section.
  3. The library staff is always ready to assist the user or the user may use the card catalog for research purposes.
  4. The library user should present at least one (1) valid ID when photocopying books and other library materials.
  5. For internet users, use only the assigned computer and do not open unauthorized websites.

Vision

It has been the vision of the IMUS CITY LIBRARY to be a lifelong learning center for all imuseños that provide innovative services and interactive programs that will inspire, educate and empower the community.

Mission

The IMUS CITY LIBRARY aims to educate the community by providing free and open access to information through books, electronics sources and other data sources that will enrich the lives of all people in the community.
