Services and Functions

The Office of the City Assessor is responsible for the implementation of rules and regulation in the appraisal and assessment of real property units for taxation purposes. It is also accountable in establishing systematic method of real property assessment pursuant to the provision of Local Government.

Frontline Services

1. Simple Transfer of real property tax ownership.

2. Appraisal and Assessment of newly constructed/declared property.

3. Reclassification of agricultural land to its actual use as residential, commercial or industrial.

4. Subdivision/Consolidation of land.

5. Verification of Tax Declaration subject for payment of realty taxes.

6. Issuance of the following certifications:

  • Certified True Copy/Photocopy of Tax Declaration
  • Certificate of No Improvement
  • Certificate of No Agricultural Land
  • Certificate of Aggregate/Property Holdings
  • Certificate of No Property

7. Cancellation of record of Dual/Multiple Assessment and/or demolished or no longer existing real property units.

Vision
To be an excellent and effective department of local government of Imus City that will guarantee substantial income contribution through efficient and systematic real property valuation and assessment and providing “above standard” public services.

Mission

Update inventory and properly assessed  and effectively recorded and monitored real properties in accordance with existing assessment rules and regulations using specialized computer programs.
