• Formulates plan and recommend such measures which will improve the peace and order situation in the city.
• Secures the safety of all government properties, buildings, the civilians and school children
• Continuously coordinates with the PNP and helps in the apprehension of adolescence using illegal drugs
• Receive complaints against government personnel, civilian or military, and endorse the same to the agency concerned and compel such agency to submit report if action taken thereon
• Helps in the apprehension of persons with illegal and unlicensed firearms
• Apprehends those driving without license
