• Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the City Plaza, Imus City Sports Complex and the City Playground

• Ensuring 24-hour security, peace and order on abovementioned facilities

• Preserve, maintain and restore historic and archaeological markers and landmarks in the city

• Education and awareness campaign related to historic events, sites and places in the city for their conservation and legacy to the future generation

Frontline Services
  1. Accepts letter of requests to reserve the City Sports Complex or the City Plaza, schedule in the calendar of events and ensure the availability of these venues for public and private events upon the approval of the Office of the Mayor and the City Administrator’s Office.
  2. Upkeep, maintenance, cleanliness inside and within the perimeter of the City Sports Complex, the City Plaza and the playground area.
  3. Ensure the safety and security of the physical structures of these areas.
  4. Deter public nuisance and disturbances, by drunk/intoxicated people and their likes, by sufficiently keeping a staff of security men for 24 hours on a shifting duty to guard these areas.

Venue Reservation

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Letter addressed to the City Mayor requesting to use the abovementioned facilities
  2. Confirmation of approval of the City Administrator

STEPS:

  1. Acceptance of inquiries for reservation to use these facilities.
  2. Advice the clients/requesting persons to write a request letter addressed to the City Mayor for his information and approval. Once approved, advise the client to pay the necessary fee.
  3. Clients are escorted to visit and inspect the facility to answer any queries and for them to have a “look and feel” of the venue prior to their events.
  4. If approved and paid, accept the Letter of Request with the attached official receipt of payment.
  5. Calendar and schedule the approved events.

VISION

To make the City of Imus a well-known locality with excellent facilities such as its City Sport Complex, Plaza and the Playground.  To enable the people to appreciate the historic legacy of this town by ensuring the regular maintenance, enhancement and visibility of various markers that bestowed honor to the various brave Imuseños and highlighted their struggle and victories to achieve freedom for the people of Imus.

MISSION

Our mission is to support the 8-Point Agenda of the present city government through the preservation of historic sites and markers as well as the maintenance and upkeep of three public places which are often used for events and gatherings.
